SOS February Blend-a-Sketch with Hearts "Follow Your Heart"

It is time for February's Blend - A - Sketch Challenge over at the Scrap Our Stash Blog!
This month's added challenge is to add Heart Patterned Paper or a Heart Embellishment on your layout!
You have until Feb 28th to play along with us!  Complete Challenge Rules and PRIZE Info can be found on the SCRAP OUR STASH BLOG!

Below is my take on the challenge.
I decided to flip the sketch on the right on it's side, and used hearts behind the photo (instead of a single star) as inspiration from the photo on the left. I added some tags, as shown on both layouts, and used many heart embellishments!
I love this photo of my youngest son Jake and I.  It was a selfie we took at my niece's wedding and is one of my favorites of us!  How is it that my baby so much taller than me!??  We had a great time celebrating with our family, and made lots of happy memories!

Besides the very handsome young man in this photo, I love the "Be you" flair button!  Below are some more close ups for you:

I love this "Hello Lovely" collection from Simple Stories- If you know me, I LOVE just about every collection they make!!  The colors are awesome, and I love how everything coordinates with the color of Jake's shirt.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you enjoyed my take on the challenge, and I can't wait to see what you come up with!
Please hope on over to the Scrap Our Stash Blog for all the details!

  2. Really fun take on the blending of the sketches challenge. I love the use of the different coloured plain cardstock. The blue one is perfect for the photo, and all the heart embellishments stand out nicely against it. The little enamel dots and cute little brads add just the right finishing touches. Love it! TFS.
