What a busy day!
I had a very busy but productive day today! Jake was happy - I made pumpkin chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast ( he has been bugging me to make pancakes for the last few weekends!) They were yummy!
Then - I had to prepare some of the food for my crop on Feb 6th -- I have to feed 40 scrapbookers so -
I cooked 3 lbs of elbow macaroni for mac and cheese - and added lots and lots of cheeses and made 2 huge trays. We are also going to be having meatloaf - so I started with 13 lbs of ground beef and added to that! That is all in the freezer now -just waiting to be baked up into comfy goodness!
I had a "test" run on these new receipes that I came up with on Saturday night and Meem, Pop, Phil and Jake gave everything "rave" reviews - so I think the scrapbook ladies will like them.
I wrapped some beautiful raffle baskets for both my crop - and Scrap-a-Doodle-Doo's weekend Winter Wonderland Crop that I am attending and vending at this weekend! I can't wait!
I prepped for my Project Grad meeting tomorrow night - and sent out an email reminder.
I have to pack for the weekend crop and finish up the goodie bags after work this week..... never enough hours in the day!

Lovin' Canvas Creations!
I had an awesome time at my Hostess Club last night - you ladies really did some beautiful work --
BUT I forgot to take pictures of everyone's amazing creations - so if you'll email them to me -
I would be HAPPY to post on my blog!!
Here is one from Amanda R --
it is just "Lovely!"
Lovin' the Raven Glimmer Mist she used over the Fired Brick Distress Ink with the Glimmer screen.
The black and white photos go great with these colors - and the chipboard "L" and Grundge board "ove" really "pop" in Suede Glimmer mist! GREAT JOB Amanda!
Here are pics of Lisa M's canvas projects - I think this girl is addicted! Great Job Lisa!
the photo is small and doesn't do it justice - it came out very pretty, love the glimmer and bling!

My Family Canvas Jan 17, 2010
This is a project that I complete at Got Memories 3 Weekend! I am now officially addicted to GLIMMER MIST - it is now my "Elixir of Life!" Most items on this canvas project were purchased from my FAVORITE Local Scrapbook store: Scrap-a-Doodle-Doo, Ramsey, New Jersey
I used a combination of Olive Vine, Golden Terracotta, Gold and English Ivy Glimmer Mist and sprayed them on a Canvas that I first inked with Ranger inks and blended with water. Then I started Layering! ( My 2nd favorite part - after Glimmer Mist!! LOL!)
In this corner is a photo frame ( with a picture of our Portuguese Water Dog Lily) that I placed a Tattered Angels Glimmer screen over the botton left corner - then coated the top of the frame with Mud Puddles ( a sandy paste) I lifted the screen off - and when it all dried, I sprayed it all with Golden Terracotta Glimmer Mist - I added a touch of black RANGER INK paint dauber to some spots to make the detials 'POP" and a cute PRIMA flower in the upper right corner just set it off! - Don't ya think! The Tim Holtz Key says "Heart" and look at the Prima Swirl - just adds a little "bling!"
..........................................
Below is true "scrapbooking" The cardboard was something that a big pad of chipboard letters I purchased a few months ago was wrapped in - I just LOVED the texture of it -and saved it for "just the right project" - I think it found a nice little home here in this corner - after a few spritz of Glimmer Mist - of course!!
The beads hanging from the chipboard swirl ( a laser cut from my Carol at DC Designs/Chip off the Old Block ) was also sprayed and dipped in glimmer mist "residue" that was left on my splat mat for this cool combo -that was also "touched" with dabs of Ranger's Rock Candy Distress Paint, and a piece of hemp was tied to a few beads from a necklace that I broke a few years ago - and "saved" - because you just "never know" when you can do something with it -- I think I found out just what I was waiting for, as I incorporated lots of beads hanging from this canvas -- More DIMENSION! I LOVE IT!
The word FAMILY and the swirl on top were also cut by DC Designs - and covered with paper from Scrap-a-Doodle-Doo. I added a Tattered Angels LOVE Bingo Board and a Tile - both which were sprayed with the "Elixir of Life" of course! I added some PRIMA flowers - LOVE THEM! and a few more swirls of bling - there is Tim Holtz "Wonderful" coin hanging from the bottom by a TH fastener too.
I am going to add a few more small canvases and hang them from the bottom of this larger canvas, as soon as I get around to it! hope you like it!
