Catching up.....

Well, I'm not and I will NEVER be an "up to date" scrapper.  I've got too much catching up to do!! :-)
I find I scrap what I'm in the mood to scrap - how about you?

Long ago, I let go of trying to keep up with memories and photos, and I try to select photos that "tell the most story."   That is why I chose to scrap this photo of our 2010 - 2011 trip to Walt Disney World.  It was over the Christmas / New Year's break, and we celebrated my Mom & Dad's 50th Wedding Anniversary.  My parents, my brother and sister-in-law and our 2 nephews, along with my hubby and our 2 son's had a great time, and made some very special memories! It tells the story of FAMILY and how import it is to take the time to spend time and create memories TOGETHER!

Here we are about to enter EPCOT.  It was a great day - crowded - but great!

I LOVE this paper line from Queen and Co.  It is called "MAGIC" ( how appropriate!)  The colors are SO DISNEY!  Other than the M I C K E Y Sticker, "2010" Pin and some M I C K E Y glitter confetti, all items on this layout were purchased from my Local Scrapbook Store - Scrap-A-Doodle Doo,  who also has an On-line Store that is open 24/7!

Well, that's my latest layout - I hope you find some inspiration!

The Doo's April Sketch Challenge

Hi everyone!  I hope you are able to welcome in spring by enjoying a little crafty time for yourselves! It is so important to try to set aside even just 1 hour a week for some "YOU" time - and get a little crafty with it - if you can!

My favorite Local Scrapbook Store, Scrap-a-Doodle Doo has their newest SKETCH CHALLENGE for APRIL posted as an EVENT on their Facebook Page  - ALL you have to "DOO" is LIKE Scrap-a-Doodle Doo's Facebook Page - and then CLICK on the EVENT for all the details - and you can even post your entry into the contest right there within the event!

Here is the sketch they chose from Pinterest for this month:

And here is my take on it:

I used the NEW Bo Bunny "Happy Tails" Collection to help document a "CRAZY" playtime with our two dogs. I really love this line, it is so bright and playful, and the colors are great. The accessories are awesome too!  You can order them ON LINE at SCRAP-A-DOODLE DOO if you don't live in the area too!

Maggie and Tino are both Portuguese Water Dogs.  Maggie is 2 1/2 (she is the one with the curly hair, white paws and chest,) and Tino is our new 5 1/2 month old boy -who is all black, with wavy hair.  Yes, I said "HAIR" as PWD's have hair and not fur :-)  - Yup, that is right -no shedding!

As you can see in the photos - they had a great time playing with paper packing that came in a box delivered from Amazon.  I think they had just as much fun playing with the paper, as they did with the toys that were delivered!  LOL!  - They are really great dogs - and if you couldn't tell, I love them both a lot!

Thanks for stopping by!

I hope you get some "YOU" time to get your craft on soon!
