Scrap Our Stash September Cartoon Inspired and Sketch Challenge - Just Being Goofy!

It's time for this month's Saturday Cartoon Sketch Challenge from the Scrap Our Stash Blog! - Be sure to include an educational symbol and use the sketch below for your inspiration!
I hope you find some time to play along with us this month!

I decided to use 2 photos from this past January, when my friends and I visited the "Mickey The True Original Exhibition" in NYC!  I am loving this awesome Disney inspired collection from Colorplay and had fun creating this layout for the Scrap Our Stash Blog's Design Team for your inspiration!

vvvvvv

Here are 2 paper clips that I used for the educational element portion of the challenge - the yellow Mickey head that I bought back in 2016 in Disneyland, and the Epoxy Metal Clip from Simple Stories Say Cheese 3 Collection.

I hope I've inspired you to play along with us this month at the Scrap Our Stash Blog!  Thanks for stopping by!

April SOS Saturday Cartoon and Sketch "CareBear" Challenge "#friends"

This months Saturday Cartoon / Sketch Challenge from the Scrap Our Stash Blog gives you LOTS of options!
You get to choose the Color and Symbol of the CareBear of your choice and include that color and an embellishment or patterned with the symbol on the bear's chest!

I chose the PINK "Love-a-Lot" Bear, who's symbol is 2 Hearts!
I picked a photo of a Girl's Day Out in NYC to see the Mickey Exhibit - and kept the color palette to PINK, Black and White!

We are all BIG Mickey and Disney fans and had so much FUN!

Here are some close ups for you!

I used 2 + hearts

The base page just had a bunch of plan intersecting circles and I doodled on all of them to match the doodling on the patterned paper I used.

I hope I've inspired you to play along with us this month at the Scrap Our Stash Blog!
Give it a try - you'll have a blast!

Formal Magic !

Formal Night on our Westbound Transatlantic Cruise on The Disney Magic this past September.  Our journey was 14 nights long, and took us from Barcelona, to Malaga, Spain, onto Tenerife in the Canary Islands, before crossing the Atlantic, and arriving at Antigua. St. Maarten, St Kitts, and finally ending up in San Juan.

We had a F A B U L O U S time, a G R E A T group of Tablemates, W O N D E R F U L weather, and a very smooth crossing.

There were 2 Formal Nights, and this layout captures one of them, along with M*I*C*K*E*Y  himself!

I tried to only use Black, Silver and Bright Green embellishments to compliment the "Formal" photo - and of course I had to add LOTS OF BLING!

Thanks for stopping by - I hope this layout inspires you to make a little "MAGIC" of your own!

Just a couple of DISNEY pages....

Here are a couple of pages that I made at my last weekend get-a-way with Scrap-a-Doodle Doo....

I colored the stars in on the Reminisce Magic -Magical Hat paper with a yellow Sharpie to match Mickey's hat, covered cardstock with Queen & Co Trendy Chevron Washi Tape to create a "Party of 10' banner, cut the swirl out by hand to mimic the swirl on the WDW pin at the bottom of the layout - and had a blast with the red and white baker's twine - all items on this layout were purchased at Scrap-a-Doodle Doo!

and here is the 2nd one....

I layered different types of flowers on top of the heart paper doilie and added Prima Sculptured resin flowers and pink Mickey head buttons, along with a button/pin we got at the park.  I triple matted the vertical photo and added a patterned die cut shape behind it.  I then cut out flags or banners to hang from bakers twine in patterns/colors that complemented the rest of the things going on in the layout and added a different button to each.  I LOVE how the banner came out! I also inked the edges of all the papers with Peacock Feathers Ranger Distress Stain - one of my new FAVORITE colors!!  99 % of the products were purchased at

I hope these 2 layouts inspire you to CREATE something fun today!

Thanks for stopping by - please take a minute to say "HI" and let me know you were here - or become a follower too!

THANKS!!
