Scrap Our Stash Sept Sketch Challenge "Bark"

Hello everyone!! It is time for this month's Sketch Plus Challenge over at the

Scrap Our Stash Challenge Blog!

This month we ask you to use the sketch below for your inspiration, and to also include Wood Grain Patterned Paper and an Animal Embellishment!

I hope you have fun playing along with us!

I selected 2 photos of our adorable pups - Maggie and Tino, who are Portuguese Waterdogs that always make us smile! They had just come from the groomers and were all soft and fluffy!
I dug into my stash and used lots whatever I could find
- I hope you get to use up some of your stash too!
( It's the best excuse to buy some more! LOL!)

My animal embellishments are the chipboard black dog and paw print.

Maggie is going to be 9 next month, and Tino will be 7!
I can't believe it!

Maggie has a curly coat and is Reelife's Princess Magdalena of the Sea

Tino (Valentino) has a wavy coat and is Turnabout is Fair Play

They make our hearts smile everyday -especially in these crazy and uncertain times!

Head on over the the Scrap Our Stash Challenge Blog for lots more inspiration from the rest of the design team, challenge rules and prize info!

I hope you and your family are well, please take care, be safe, wear your mask so we can stop the spread and eventually get back to normal!

What are YOU Thankful for? Challenge YOUrself #81

There is so much to be THANKFUL for these days!  This month's Challenge YOUrself Blog's challenge gives you the Thankful prompt below - and be sure to include a photo of YOU when you play along!

I am more and more THANKFUL for the little things these days.

One of them is taking an occasional road trip with my husband and inviting my parents to join us.  We live in New Jersey, where a favorite "breakfast meat treat" is Taylor Ham - as it is known here in North Jersey - those that live in South Jersey call it Pork Roll - and they are just wrong! LOL! I used photos from that day to create my layout - we are always THANKFUL for Good Times Together!

Anyway, I saw a post on Facebook of a Farm about 1.5 hrs away, so we decided to take a drive and give it a try!!  I was the only daring one - and it was DELICIOUS!  I love that sweet / salty combo!  We also bought some of the wonderful breads that they make on premises too!  It was a wonderful day spent together!

Here are some close ups for you:

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you find some time to play along with us this month and showing us what YOU are THANKFUL for!  Hop over to the Challenge YOUrself Blog for lots more inspiration from the rest of the Design Team, along with challenge and prize info!

Stay Safe / Be Well / Wear Your Mask!

Graduation! SOS's September ABC-123 Challenge

Hello everyone!  I hope you and your families are doing well in these strange and crazy times!

I hope you can escape and join in the Scrap Our Stash Blog's September Challenge!!

I have 2 grown "boys" so I chose a few photos of our youngest son's Graduation for my take on the challenge.

1 word title - Graduation

2 photos

3 of the same embellishments - I chose to triple that - 3 Stars, 3 Brads and 3 hearts

Here are some close ups for you - I used lots of scraps of black and white papers that I save all together in my stash. I also used a star stencil and added some stars in the background.

I hope you like my take on this fun challenge and that you will play along with us at the Scrap Our Stash Blog this month!  Head on over to see lots more inspiration from the rest of the the Design Team, as well as see the challenge rules and prize info!

Take care and be well ~ (((HUGS)) ~ Sherri
