SOS Sketch plus Word - PEACE Dec 2017

Hello and Happy Holidays my Scrappy Friends!
First let me wish you and your families a very HAPPY and HEALTHY Holiday Season, and I send you Best Wishes for a 2018 filled with only WONDERFUL things!

Thanks for stopping by today to check out the latest Sketch plus Word Challenge from The Scrap Our Stash Blog This month's word is "PEACE" - so in addition to using the sketch below as your inspiration, you must also include an item from your stash that starts with each of the letters in the word.
Here is this month's festive sketch:

For some reason, I don't seem to have many Christmas photos from years past.  I think I am always too caught up in enjoying the moment, which I think is important too!
The photos I used were taken by my friend back in 1994.  I love the smiles on our son's faces, and can't believe that they are now 28 and 23 years old!  Cherish and Enjoy every minute with your babies - for in the blink of an eye, before you know it - they somehow become all grown up!!

Here is my take on the Sketch Challenge:

For the word "PEACE" I used:
P - Peeled Paint Distress Stain, Pinwheels and Pearls
by  Queen and Co.
E- Evergreen Bough Distress Stain, Eyelet
A - American Craft Thickers, Aspen Frost papers, Arrow
C- Cardstock, Color Chaos from Bella Blvd
E- Echo Park "Dashing Reindeer"

Here are some close ups for you:

Where did these little boys go? It seems like just yesterday they were making out Christmas Lists, leaving Cookies and Coke for Santa, and carrots for Rudolph! Nick and Jake, you are without a doubt, the BEST Christmas Gifts I have ever been given!
Love you both with all of my heart!

Thanks so much for taking some time out of your very busy days before the holidays, and visit my blog.  I hope you can find some time for you, in-between all the pre-holiday craziness, to relax and scrap a bit!! I hope this sketch and my layout inspire you to play along with us at the Scrap Our Stash Blog!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!

Merry Christmas from Princess Maggie and Scrap Our Stash!

Happy December everyone!   Its is time for Scrap Our Stash to Challenge you with another FUN Tic Tac Toe Board Challenge!!

I chose to the diagonal line that includes:
Frame, Holiday Theme, Ribbon

Here is my layout for your inspiration:
This is our Portuguese Water Dog, Reel Life's Princess Magdalena of the Sea sitting pretty in front of our Christmas Tree,  back in 2013 - when she was an "only" dog child, before our boy Tino arrived in February of 2014.   I had lots of FUN mixing paper lines, manufactures and pulling LOTS of STUFF from my STASH!
Here are some close ups for you!
For SURE this is a Holiday Themed Layout - and you can see the Tattered Angel's Frame, and the Ribbon flower and the Ribbon "pull" on the Dear Santa Tag!  Look at that PRETTY girl too!!

Love this tag - and I doubled it with another smaller one, to note Maggie's age and stapled a ribbon to it too!

Love this little ribbon flower and those cool green bling balls have been in my stash for-ev-er!  So happy to use them on this layout!

Be sure to head on over to the Scrap Our Stash Blog - and check out the Challenge Rules, Prize info - and see lots more Inspiration from the rest of the Design Team!

Thanks for stopping by - wishing You and Yours a VERY Merry Christmas, and a Happy and Healthy Holiday Season!
