Everything is better with COFFEE - as long as it's Starbucks!

 Hi Scrappy Peeps - I decided to play along with my good friends at the Scrap Our Stash Blog - and enter their "April Wheel of Challenges - Tick Tac Toe"  I was on the DT for this awesome group for a few years and am so happy I had a chance to play along with them this month!!
I decided to follow the top row of the board - selecting Stripped Paper / Fussy Cutting/ Any Page Maps Sketch - 

and here is my take on the challenge: 

I just LOVE this Coffee and Friends Collection from Echo Park! I thought it would work great for this photo I took looking outside of my husband's hospital room at New York Presbyterian Hospital this past December, overlooking the George Washington Bridge!

There is a Starbucks in the lobby of the hospital and let me tell you - it was a great treat to help get me through the last 8 months as we have been in and out of there, while battling his heart failure after a massive heart attack last August. I am so thankful he is doing well now, and we treat every day as a blessing!

MLSS April Challenge - "Scraplift one of the DT Members"

 Hello scrappy friends - the April Challengbe over at the My Little Scrapbook Store Scrapbook Layouts and More Page was to "lift" a layout from one of the DT members - 

I picked this layout by the talented Jessica Walker!

I uses lots of Stuff and Goodies from Vickie Boutin's Color Study Collection to highlight this FUN photo of my friends Stephanie and Marianne, from when we visited a pop up in NYC called Candytopia!  SO MUCH FUN!!

I love all the colors and patterns in this collection and thought they worked so well with the vibrant photo!

I even did a Facebook Live event on the MLSS page, where I show you how I created this page - check it out when you get a chance!

I thought this FUN photo of my friends and I having a blast at the Candytopia Pop-Up Event in New York City would be perfect to celebrate 

the 100th Challenge from the Challenge YOUrself Blog!
I added 3 different color stars to the layout - can you find all of them?

I had so much fun creating this layout - using Vicki Boutin's pre-made mixed media paper as a base then adding the fun word stencil on the left using Picket Fence Snowflake Paper Glaze. I splattered some Ranger Distress Oxide Spray -Picked Raspberry, and some Glimmer Mists all around, and had fun doodling around the edges of the base page too!

Those flying pig embellishments were created by duplicating an image from a photo I took, in different sizes, cutting them out and pop-dotting them!
