Challenge YOUrself #131 - Fish Sandwich!

 Hello Scrappy Friends! 

It’s been a while since I’ve had a minute to post on my blog!  

We have a new puppy in the house and it’s like having an infant!   

I want to share a layout I created for the Challenge YOUrself Blog’s November Challenge #131.   Make a layout with a grid design and make sure there is a picture of YOU!

I used photos from our October 2023 cruise to Bermuda on the Disney Dream! We booked a private tour and made a stop at a local place to enjoy one of Bermuda’s famous Fish Sandwiches!  YUM! 

I used 49 and Market’s Wherever Collection and a Vicki Boutin Stencil from her Where to Next Collection  

I had fun making lots of layers with the stencil and one of Vicki’s pastes.  The pockets that come with the collection are a great place to tuck in a tag with memories and I added some of the beautiful rub-ons that are in the Wherever Collection. 

The chipboard elements are a fun way to layer too!  I was even able to layer some of the Geotags to pinpoint Bermuda on the base page!

Join in the MLSS Say Goodbye to Summer HOP!

Hello Scrappy Friends!

It’s been a while since I posted!  I will try to keep up with posting layouts for your inspiration!

I am participating in a Fun Blog and YouTube Hop with my fellow Design Team Members over at the My Little Scrapbook Store!

So, I will share the layout that I created of my sweet grand niece Serena. She was having fun playing with toys and water outside, and I just love her smile!!   I used the beautiful Sun Chaser Collection from Heidi Swapp - you can find yours in the STORE - HERE!!  I used the base page as my inspiration, and added stickers, diecuts, tags and foam stickers based on the color of the base page

I also added a yellow heart paperclip from the Paige Evan's Splendid Collection, and a Vicki Boutin Title and some stickers and foam embellishments that I had in my stash!

Here is my layout and some close ups for you - 

I love layering different pattern papers on top of each other, and adding texture with fun Fringe Scissors, paper tearing and inking with Distress Oxide Inks! I used Black Soot to add an outline to the different patterns, and along the edges of the base page too!

Challenge YOUrself #123 Favorite Pets

Hello Scrappy Friends! 

I hope this month finds all of you well!! I’m recovering from a big foot surgery that I had on March 27th. I have to be off my right foot and non-weight-bearing for 6 weeks! I was able to get some scrapping done before the surgery so I can share this great challenge with you!!

For this month’s challenge at the Challenge YOUrself Blog we want to see a layout featuring your Favorite Animal or Pet! 

I used 49 and Market’s Teal Collection to create this layout of our Sweet girl Sugar  - our 5 year old all white Portuguese Water Dog.  She is Silly and just as Sweet as her name! She makes us smile every day! 

I had fun using lots of “stuff” from this beautiful collection- and using frames - especially to frame and highlight our silly girl!

February Challenge YOUrself #122

Hi everyone. This month we want to see a layout including YOU and a favorite memory from 2023!

I selected a photo of my husband and me that was taken on a tour in Bermuda.  We sailed from NY to Bermuda on the Disney Dream in October of 2023.  It was a wonderful trip and a fun Island tour.   We were blessed to make special memories we will cherish forever!    

I used Simple Stories “Crusin’ “ collection!  So fun!!  I actually used 2 of the ship page - I fussy cut elements from one page ( the ship, clouds, sun… )  the popped them with 3D foam on top of the base page.  
I love how it came out!

January 2024 Challenge “One Little Word” ENJOY

Happy New Year my Scrappy Friends!  May 2024 bring only Love, Laughter, Good Health and Happiness to you and your families! 

We are starting the year off with a fresh n challeng from the Challenge YOUrself Blog!  We want you to share your “One Little Word” for 2024 with us!

I selected the word “Enjoy”  which is what I plan to do every possible minute that I can do so, in 2024!

I made it the title on my layout with a photo of my wonderful husband and me enjoying a special moment at our stop

In Bermuda, while on our wonderful Disney Cruise with our family last October.   We kissed under the Moongate in front of our ship the Disney Dream! 

I created the base using Vicki Boutin pastes, a stamp and Ranger Distress Oxides.  I uses pspers and embellishments from her Print Shop Collection.
