Hello Scrappy Friends!!
I'm back!! It's been a long while - a broken ankle ( in 3 places ) on Christmas Eve, then surgery on Dec 30th kept me out of my scrapbook room for a LONG while - plus the new puppy's crate for sleeping is in my scrapbook room - so it's kept me out of there for a while!
I'm trying to "share" my scrapbook room with him and get a few hours in a week to scrapbook!
I want to share this month's challenge with you from the Challenge YOUrself Blog! This month's theme is "Create a Project Using Butterflies On Your Page." For example, you can draw a butterfly, use a photo of a butterfly, use butterfly embellishments, etc. Whatever you like! (And don't forget to include a photo with you in the frame.)
Here is my layout for the Design Team and for your Inspiration!
I used the beautiful Happiness Collection from Cocoa Vanilla - the Die Cut and base paper with the triangle patter paper came like that - I used foam squares to raise the Die Cut up and give it depth.
This is a photo of my husband and I at a sunflower field a few years ago. I fussy cut all of the butterflies out of a 12 x 12 piece of paper from the collection. I love to fussy cut!!
Here are a few close ups for you:
I hope I've inspired you to play along with us this month over at the Challenge YOUrself Blog! I can't wait to see what you create!!
