I've had theses papers in my stash for some time....waiting for just the right photo(s) and layout. I love the tag in this sketch - as tags are my favorite way to include a little bit of journaling in my layouts. For the +3 part of the challenge, I used:
1. Desert - base page
2. Envelop - that I actually made out of one of the papers
3. French Wine - in the pattern paper and embellies
Here is my take on the sketch:
We had a spur of the moment "Family Game Night" with my brothers-in-laws and sister-in-laws. We played one of our favorite games "Things!" We had lots of fun laughing together! |
I have also entered this in the November
"Something on an angle challenge" over at the
Here is the envelop I made out of one of the pieces of pattern paper, along with a grouping of embellishments. |
I added a strip of Washi tape down the center of the photo the 2 stacks of cards for the game, and a little heart, as my take on the sketch. I love the PRICELESS piece of Flair!! |
Here you can see where I slipped in the tag with the journaling. |
This is the front of the tag - I used stickers from the sticker sheet of the paper collection, and some real cool fibers. |
