SOS May Pick Your Side Sketch Challenge "Celebrate!"

Hi my scrappy friends -  It is time for the May Pick Your Side Sketch Challenge from the 
Scrap Our Stash Blog -
 Below are your sketch prompts, 
and also be sure to include a TAG in your layout too!

I used the Sketch on the LEFT as my inspiration - my Tag is tucked behind the top of the photo on the left - and the pineapple is how you pull it out of the little pocket I made with 3D Foam Tape - I love to include journaling on my layouts on little hidden Tags!  I LOVE the clouds i the photos from our Disney Magic Cruise and can't believe this was over a year ago!  There are 3 "not so hidden Mickeys"  - Can you find them?? I hope you like it!

October 15, 2017 - Our son Nick and his partner Rob got engaged on one of the sea days on our Disney Cruise - It was a beautiful day and we are so happy for them. 
Love them and their Happy Smiles!

Challenge YOUrself #65 - Life Goals!

Hello my scrappy friends - It is time for the 

May Challenge from the Challenge YOUrself Blog! 

We are asking you to create a layout about your goals in life - and to be sure to include YOU in your layout!

This one really hits home for me this month. At the end of June, the company that I have worked for, for the last 39 years, will be moving from New Jersey to Florida.  While I was offered a position to join them, I am unable to do so.  My family comes first, and all of them are in New Jersey.  I have no connections in Florida ( other than Disney World!) 

- and I feel my home is and will always be New Jersey!

So I find myself in an unexpected and life changing situation, and have begun the challenge of finding a new job - after 39 years!  

So with that in mind - my LIFE GOALS at this time are:

Worry Less!

Enjoy More!

Choose Happy!

As my title says - "DONUT worry - BE HAPPY!"

I thought this donut paper was SO FUN and just perfect for photos of my hubby and I at a donut shop we found, while on a get-a-way weekend in January of 2017.

Maybe if I keep repeating this, it will sink in!

May SOS Saturday Cartoon Sketch Challenge - Rainbow Bright - "Candytopia"

May is here already!!  That means it is time for a FUN challenge 
from the Scrap Our Stash Blog!

Here is my Layout for your inspiration - I had so much fun playing along with the rainbow theme, and making that big rainbow circle using lots of brads and embellishments that I have had in my stash forever!! I think the fun colors work great with the photo of my friends and I covered in confetti while visiting the FUN Candytopia Pop-Up in NYC last year!

This brad/embellishment circle was SO MUCH FUN to create!
