Challenge YOUrself #98 - "Our Fairytale"

Hello Scrappy Friends!!!

I hope things are going well with you and you have been able to find some time to get some scrapping in!

I want to share this month's challenge from the Challenge YOUrself Blog.  This month we have a beautiful Color Palette challenge for you! 

Create a layout using the colors shown, and don't forget to include a photo of YOU in your layout!

 Here is my Design Team Inspiration layout for you:  

I had so much fun scrapping these photos of my husband and I.
I created them using the Voila App on my Iphone!  If you haven't tried it - you should - it's lots of fun!  I used the Renaissance filter for these. I think it looks like we are characters in a Fairytale!
I LOVE this man so much!  He certainly is, and always will be my Prince, as he makes me feel like a Princess every day!
He is my Knight in Shining Armor!! 

Below are some close-ups for you.
I created the base with Vicki Boutin's Color Study Mixed Media Pad - it had all of the pink ombré colors on it already. 
I had previously smushed a Little Birdie Studio Script Design Stencil that I had used on another page, that still had some Ranger Distress Oxide Spray in Peacock Feathers, in the center of the page. I think it worked perfectly for this challenge!

 I then used some Picket Fence Studio Ocean Poppy Paper Glaze with the same stencil, added some dimension and shine. I splattered some Peacock Feather and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Spray over the whole layout too!

I triple matted the photos, and inked the edges with Ranger Distress Stains in Peacock Feathers and Picked Raspberry. The Title, gold hearts, and XOXO are from Thickers - Dear Lizzy "Royal" collection.

How sweet are these butterflies!!!  I fussy cut them all out of Vicki Boutin's sheet of vellum butterflies from her Wildflower and Honey collection!!

I made them "3D" by bending their little wings up a bit, and only gluing them down by the cute little gold bodies.
To finish the layout - I added a bunch of the FUN Unicorn and Metallic Pearls from Pink Fresh!
