This month's Cartoon Inspired Challenge from the Scrap Our Stash Blog was so much fun to create - besides the Sketch and Cartoon for your inspiration - we Challenge you to hunt through your stash and use something that starts with each of the letters in the word CASPER and you much include the color ORANGE !
Here is my Design Team Inspiration Layout for you:
We did a search on-line to see where we could find a "REAL" English Breakfast, near our flat, while we were in London on vacation last October and this place was terrific - very much a "local" joint - great reviews and the lady who took our order and yelled "toast" when it was ready was great, as was the food!
If any of you have seen the Elton John movie Rocket Man - you many remember seeing this place (without the curtains) in the movie. Imagine our surprise when we found out months later that this was the place where Elton John and Bernie Taupin first met - sooo cool!!
For the CASPER part of the challenge I used:
C -Camera, Corrugated Cardstock
A -American Crafts Thickers, Airplane
S -Striped paper, Sequins, Scalloped edges, Simple Stories
P - Pin (I love London), Peacock Feather and Picket Fence Stains
E - Ebony Black and English Mustard Nuvo Drops, Eyelets
R -Ranger Distress Stains
Here are some close ups for you:
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a chance to play along with us this month at the Scrap Our Stash Blog!

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun take on the challenge ! Just like Julie, I love the colours you've chosen to go along with the orange background. The blue corrugated cardstock really stands out and looks so nice. Every little element is so neat and eye-pleasing. Great job using those fibers. I still have some of it sitting in my stash. I should try to use it up. Beautiful work. TFS.
