SOS Blog Feb Sketch Challenge - "Rum Swizzle!"

Hi there Scrappy Friends!! 

It's time for our 2nd challenge of the month at the Scrap Our Stash Blog!  This time, we are giving you a great sketch for your inspiration, and asking you to also include WASHI TAPE and POLKA DOT paper from your Stash!!

I used photos taken on our first cruise to Bermuda this past October where we celebrated our 37th Wedding Anniversary.  We took a tour of the island on our anniversary, and had an awesome lunch and a famous "RUM SWIZZLE" at the White Horse Inn in St. George.

My Little Scrapbook Store Challenge #19 "Memories Captured"

I participated in my first "On-Line Crop" hosted by My Little Scrapbook Store, over Superbowl weekend! This was a lot of FUN!  They posted 23 different challenges for layout inspiration. I decided to create a layout for Challenge # 19 - "Go Retro"

I found this photo of my little brother Jack and I, from 1963 and decided to use it for the layout I am entering in the challenge:

"My Hero" Challenge YOUrself Blog #74

This month's challenge over at the Challenge YOUrself Blog is to draw inspiration from the song "Hero" by Mariah Carey, and you must include YOU in your layout too!

Here is my take on the challenge  - 

My husband is my Hero! He has stood by me and with me for 37+ years and has been my rock, my foundation, my love, the BEST husband and the BEST father, and my BEST friend.
We faced a bunch of unexpected challenges last year, and I know, that with our love, and his strength to carry on - we can get through anything, as long as we have each other!

SOS February Challenge "Like Fine Wine....."

Are you ready for a SUPER FUN NEW Challenge!!  This month, the Scrap Our Stash Team is asking you to "Celebrate a Spunky Old Broad!" LOL!!!  Create a layout about you, or another woman you know, age 50 or older, who believes it it never too late to do whatever she wants to do! - Just be sure to use the slogan somewhere on your layout: 

"Like fine wine, women get better with age"

I used a photo of my beautiful mom and me - we are BOTH over 50 - and here we are celebrating New Year's Eve 2019!!  I am blessed to also call my Mom my Best Friend - and next door neighbor too! She has taught me so many wonderful life lessons, like  - what LOVE is, FAMILY is the most important thing in life, Always DO YOUR BEST, BE KIND to others,  TRUST in GOD, LIVE your life to the FULLEST!

OK - Please leave a comment if you see what is wrong with this close up..... I scrapped this at a girls weekend crop, and it must have been one of the late nights when I added it!!  -I'll have to creatively fix it now that it just popped out at me with this photo! LOL!

LOVE LOVE LOVE that cute llama - but my mistake carried over to this close up too!! 
Oh Dear Me!!

This camera was so awesome that I had to fussy cut it out of one of the 4x6 cards in the collection - I then used Wink of Stella Black and Clear to give the lens a little sparkle!
